Preface

This 5-day course is designed to enable CA Software Change Manager Administrators with the skills they will need to manage their software configurations with Computer Associate's latest release of their CA Software Change Manager SCM product.  This course will cover topics including Product Architecture, CA Software Change Manager Concepts and facilities, Application Lifecycle and Process design.  This education program is a "hands-on" course where participants will complete Lab exercises providing them with actual experience with CA Software Change Manager.  Anyone who is responsible for managing their software configuration with Computer Associate's Software Change Manager will benefit from this 5-day course.

Prerequisite Skills

This course is designed for users who are comfortable with CA SCM and CM in general. Some prerequisite skills for this course are:

  • CC510 or equivalent end-user CA Software Change Manager Course
  • Relational Database Knowledge
  • SQL Knowledge
  • Script writing knowledge
